Glasses Exams

Refractions (a.k.a. “eye exams” or “glasses exams”) are done with the help of our MARCO technology which can precisely estimate your glasses prescription, which our team can then refine to your liking with manifest refraction and retinoscopy as needed.  Glasses can correct myopia (near-sightedness), hyperopia (far-sightedness), astigmatism (when the front of the eye is not round).  Glasses cannot correct blurriness due to eye diseases such as cataract, glaucoma, and macular degeneration — here is where your ophthalmologist can help.  We have separated our refractions from our routine medical visits to be able to ensure reduced wait times for all patients.  Please note that medical insurance may not cover refraction services, and additional charges may apply.
